About Me

Hi everybody! My name is Alycia. I'm a college student in Minnesota who likes to sew, knit, and draw during my free time. That is, any time I am not at school or working or watching my siblings.

Speaking of siblings, I am the oldest of seven. That's right: I said seven, people! :) My parents met in high school, shortly after got married, and then over a span of nineteen years (almost twenty now) had seven children. That, my friends, is true love.

I have a wonderful boyfriend who I have been dating over the course of (almost) four years. The whole time has bee pretty long distance. For instance, right now Matt is working in Georgia. But thank goodness that is only for the summer! I can't wait to see him. :)

Some things you should know:
1. I can be a complete goofball. My best friend Tiffany and I do some silly things together, which might end up on this blog. So don't be afraid if I write something smart one day, and then post something like this the next:

Yes, Tiffany and I were using the railing to pretend we were in jail. I told you I was a goof. Now you have proof!

2. My posts will be random. Very. Random. Well, a better word would be unrelated.
3. On occasion, I will post something about my sewing or knitting.  I may choose to explain the terms I use (such as yarn over or zigzag stitch). But then again, I may not explain the terms. So if you don't know, just leave a comment saying "what the heck does ____ mean?" I will do my best to explain it to you, using either words or pictures-or both!
4. Please don't judge me. Yes, I am silly. Yes, I am random. Yes, my train of thought will often confuse you. I just ask that you try to understand how wonderfully odd I really am. :)
